LSU will miss the College Football Playoff, but with seven wins and a chance to finish 8-4, the Tigers are heading to a bowl game.

Last year, LSU faced Wisconsin in the Reliaquest Bowl in Tampa Bay. According to Action Network’s Brett McMurphy, a rematch is possible.

McMurphy has LSU headed to Nashville for the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30, where Wisconsin would again be the opponent.

LSU’s last trip to the Music City Bowl was in 2014, where LSU came up just short against Brian Kelly’s Notre Dame squad.

Per Action, LSU would be favored by six against Wisconsin.

ESPN’s latest bowl projections have a different destination. Mark Schlabach puts LSU in the Texas Bowl vs. Texas Tech.

Kyle Bonagura projects LSU to land in the Gator Bowl, facing Louisville.

LSU’s faced Texas Tech and Louisville in bowl games in the last decade. LSU met Tech in the Texas Bowl in 2015 and Louisville in the Citrus Bowl the next year. LSU won both games, beating Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson.

We’ll get a clearer picture in a couple of weeks, following the playoff selection and conference championships.
