The No. 1 Vols (9-0) play at Illinois (7-2) on Saturday (5:30 p.m. ET, FOX) in a stiff nonconference test at State Farm Arena. Tennessee enters coming off another power-conference win against Miami on Tuesday in New York.
UT closes the nonconference slate with three games at Thompson-Boling Arena at Food City Center before opening SEC play on Jan. 4 against Arkansas.
