Dating back to their time together at Jackson State, Colorado football head coach Deion Sanders and superstar Travis Hunter have developed a special relationship that extends well beyond the field.

Coach Prime allowed Hunter to thrive as a two-way player, and the cornerback/wide receiver is now favored to win the Heisman Trophy. However, a new chapter will soon be written with Hunter leaving Colorado for the NFL draft.

While the junior cornerback/wide receiver is moving on from the Buffs after this season, he believes Coach Prime’s story will continue in Boulder.

During Friday’s Heisman Trophy media day, Hunter offered some insight into Coach Prime’s future at Colorado:

The 2024 Heisman Trophy ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. MT (8 p.m. ET) on Saturday, broadcast on ESPN.
